Deep, chocolatey brown is given a fun, bold new life with this striped wall.
The stripes in Resene Thunder Road and Resene Quarter Spanish White make an eye-catching statement that is further set off by the grassy green drawers in Resene Away We Go.
Anchoring the whole look, and preventing it from becoming too overwhelming, is the floor in Resene Triple Duck Egg Blue. This is a great example of using a colour as a neutral that allows other bolder shades to sing, but still adds warmth and interest. The choice of bed linen also brings everything together emphasising the stripes and adding another pop of complementary colour.
The toybox on the floor is another great way to add a fun rainbow of different colours to a child’s bedroom, but done in such a way that it works with the rest of the colour scheme instead of clashing with it.
