Bathroom beauty

The Ware's 1934 bungalow had a dodgy DIY bathroom refurbishment done 40-50 years ago. They wanted a bathroom that would see them out'. Reluctantly, this meant they'd have to ditch the bath; there just wasn't the room for it and a separate shower. They chose summer to rip it out to ground level and start again.

When the bath came out, the floor under it was so rotten the builder fell through it. Over the months the bathroom grew as the funds shrank. There were dramas with supplies and much more, but they now have an ablution block to die for particularly when the heated tile floor is going in winter. To go with the all the work on the practical elements of the bathroom, Resene Bordello is a warm and cosy colour that complements the intricate tile work complemented by Resene Alabaster on the ceiling, door and window.
