A creative home

Josje and Flip’s family of five’s home was severely damaged and needed exterior/interior repairs and painting.

They managed to give their hallway an artistic impression and included a Banksy image on the study wall. Two bedrooms have feature walls.

The home has black stone carpet in the hall and bedrooms. In the hallway they combined Resene Celery with a light purple with a sponge.

The living area is designed to be Deaf friendly – with an open living, study, dining and kitchen area, so you can see all areas from each other area. The Resene Norwester blue gives a sense of peace and calmness.

Two pillars in Resene Gold Dust dramatised using Resene Crackle effect separate the living and dining. The Resene Sunshade produces a creative contrast with both couches and Fijian tapa.

Two bedrooms have feature walls designed by their daughters. They used mainly Resene testpots. To match both powerful feature walls they used Resene Comfort Zone and Resene Moonbeam. The master bedroom is painted in Resene Spicy Pink.
