Cottage comeback

Raewynne and Paul have recently finished the renovation of a very run down cottage that they moved onto their property approx. 10 years ago. It sat on the property for about 8 years with the birds using it as a home as there was no glass in the windows and doors were missing.

As you can see by the before pictures there was a lot to do when it was time to start renovating. Raewynne and Paul kept as much of the inside walls as they could and managed to recondition the windows. The interior was painted in Resene Half Thorndon Cream to keep it light and simple. The outside was painted in Resene Half Stack and the trims in Resene Bokara Grey. The painting was done over about a 6-7 month period depending on how the renovations were going and on the availability of the painter.
