A helping hand with colour

They have just finished the ‘African’ room, which completes the last of the interior, before they start on the outside.

The kitchen walls are finished in Resene Thorndon Cream complemented by Resene Half Thorndon Cream on the kitchen ceiling. The cabinetry is Resene Quarter Ash with Resene Masala on the island cabinetry. Bold Resene Shiraz is used for the splashback.

The entrance, hallway, lounge and dining room continue the same Resene Thorndon Cream on the walls with Resene Quarter Rice Cake on the ceiling and Resene Rice Cake on the skirting, window and door frames. The wallpaper was from the Feelgood collection from Resene ColorShops.

Their daughter chose Resene Seeker and Resene Escape for her room.

The main bedroom is soft and restful with walls in Resene Sorrento with Resene Quarter Rice Cake ceiling and trims in Resene Rice Cake. The ‘African’ room has walls in Resene Tasman combined with a Resene Quarter Rice Cake ceiling and trims in Resene Rice Cake.

While initially starting their colour choices on their own, both have found that getting expert colour advice, has helped them to make their colour choices with confidence, and a great result.
