Colours to join the joinery

Urszula's house was a late 1970s house with dark bronze aluminium joinery, and dark clinker brick on top and cream blockwork on the bottom. They decided to keep the joinery colour as a number of the windows were fairly new and they did not want to replace them.

Urszula's husband chipped off the clinker from the bricks with a hammer and chisel and then they sealed them before painting. They chose Resene Bokara Grey as it was an excellent match to the bronze joinery. In the entrance Urszula painted one wall in Resene Triple Sea Fog as a break from all the dark colour.

They had used copper spouting on their roof and garage extension and Urszula wanted to paint the metal pergola a similar colour. They chose Resene Milk Chocolate but it didn't look quite right so she mixed Resene Bokara Grey with Resene Milk Chocolate and it looks just like the copper.

They now get many enquiries from those passing by asking which colours they have used on the house.
