In love with pink and purple

Jasmine's favourite colours are pink and purple so they wanted to use those colours but also try to complement colours within a Liberty print Hello Kitty bedroom set that was already owned.

They tried four Resene testpots to decide on their final colours. Once they'd chosen the colours the room was stripped of the wallpaper and the painting began.

The house is only 15 years old so didn't require too much preparation. They used Resene Broadwall Prep and Seal before sanding and applying the colours of Resene Cupid and Resene Biloba Flower with Resene Ceiling Paint white on the ceiling.

Everything needed painting including all of the woodwork, Jasmine's bed and a small bookcase she had. They used the leftover paint from the sample pots to decorate the bookcase. As an extra feature they also painted a princess castle onto her wall using Resene Enamacryl Metallic in Resene Sugar And Spice and a small sponge roller. Jasmine is delighted with her new, lovely and colourful, room.
