Cute cottage colour

The original cottage (now dining room) was built in the 1860s. The front of the house (villa) was added in the 1900s. The kitchen, which was originally the back porch, was added in the 1980s.

They wished to capture a quaint cottage look. In the main bathroom, they used Resene White, and Resene Bunting below the dado rail. They arranged to have a wallpaper frieze printed with the key pattern in Resene Bunting to sit above the dado rail.

In the kitchen, dining room and lounge they have used Resene Mint Tulip. Each of these rooms look different with furnishings, fabrics and lighting.

The next decorating jobs on the list are three bedrooms, the inside of the summer house, and the hallway. The colours for the inside of the summer house have been selected already and will use Resene White on walls and ceiling, with Resene Polo below the dado rail.
