In the hot seat

Stuart and Iona have found that their newly constructed and painted pergola on the north side of their home has added a whole new dimension to the garden, brightening up an otherwise dull brick house. Brightly painted in Resene Atlantis offset by even brighter Resene Lipstick painted garden furniture, the backyard additions boldly draw deserved attention to themselves.

Initial ideas about the pergola and its design started in September. The construction and painting was finally completed in the following January, ready for a full summer of outdoor living at its best.
