Ready to dive in

The bedroom is blessed with morning sun. As the sun moves around the house, the colour changes with the natural light, sometimes hinting of green, and in the evening, more grey.

To bring the look together, Penny re-upholstered the wingback armchair in a brown Belgian linen and Villa Nova fabric, so together this created a palette of warm green blues and browns.

Offset by the freshness of the white drapery it all comes together to be a warm, calming and inviting space. This room is proof that a darker colour tone, such as Resene Innocence, doesn't close in a room; it adds warmth and character, enhancing the drama of the stud height and the large windows.

Penny loves retreating to this room at the end of each day. The effect of the layered textures of the bed linen, wool and velvet from Foxtrot Home and Bianca Lorenne, creates a mash of comfort, ready to dive into!
