Happy hour haven

The latest school holidays were just what the Wenzel family needed to finally complete their vision for their back decking area.

They wanted to create a Mediterranean feel by using Resene Florentine Pink in Resene Walk-on paint, and planting lavender and mint. Both are looking forward to the wisteria in full bloom covering the deck and the scent of lavender in the air so they can enjoy many a happy hour in their new favourite spot. It’s completely wind sheltered and gets sunshine from mid-morning - bliss!

Teamed with a bottle of Rose it’s just delightful and the colour tone has exceeded their expectations.

They have also been busy working on the inside too. They stripped all the wallpaper and painted the entire inside in Resene Half Rice Cake. It’s light, fresh and gorgeous.
