Renovate and relocate

The O’Sullivan family decided to sell their family home and renovate and relocate to the beach.

They had a vision of pastel greens pinks and blue being by the sea. They painted the exterior in Resene Duck Egg Blue and the interior in Resene Quarter Lemon Grass.

The living area is all open plan and is the width of the house and the colour, large windows and curtains the same colour as the walls make it feel spacious and calm.

In the kitchen they had the splashback made with photos of a cooking class a group did in Spain. Initial concerns it would be a bit bold were proved wrong as they love to relive the memories every day.

The open fire is a favourite feature. Even though the home is fully insulated, double glazed and warm it is wonderful on a cold night to light the fire.
