If their walls could talk, Karen is sure they were screaming help us! Thankfully, she heard their desperate cries for a revival and acted!

It all started with the floors. Six years into living in their country haven and finally Karen’s greatest nag was answered! She knew the walls had to be painted, but couldn't see it fitting budget wise. Her husband’s dearest friend, owner of a painting company, came to check out the floor reno, and like a true tradesman, spoke the reality that the dreary dark walls would steal the spotlight from the new travertine treasures! With his incredible skills and help, their walls have now truly taken centre stage in the best way!

Resene Quarter Rice Cake has transformed the disaster that was, into a backdrop that makes the home. The freshly painted vaulted walls embody a cathedral feel and elevates the decor that is closest to their family's heart. It is rich in warmth and makes the space look bigger and brighter.

Karen feels wrapped in sunshine even on the gloomiest days, and is so glad that the decision to paint has paid off in the most visually delightful way!
