How to make your own hex noticeboard

Turn a piece of cork into a handy and colourful noticeboard.

You will need

Instructions

  1. Super glue the two hex shapes together and leave to dry.
  2. Use the pencil and ruler to mark out lines on the cork, and then mask out the stripes.
  3. Paint the lines using the Resene testpots and leave to dry. 
  4. Use the hammer and nail to pierce a hole at the top of each corner of the cork, from where the string will hang from. Thread the string and knot. 
  5. Hang your noticeboard. You’re now ready to start using your new noticeboard!

Top tip:  Coat your string to match your noticeboard. Dip your string in one of your Resene paint colours and hang it to dry over a small container. Once dry cut to your desired length and use it to hang your noticeboard.
