From the Resene product range, Resene Smooth Surface Sealer

Getting paint to stick to smooth surfaces, such as tiles, can be tricky, with the paint slipping and sliding around the surface.

Resene Smooth Surface Sealer

Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer provides the ideal solution acting as a grip coat on smooth surfaces making them ready for topcoating with your favourite Resene topcoat.

Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer has excellent adhesion and will stick to a wide variety of smooth surfaces inside or out. It is also suitable for use on new paperfaced plasterboard in wet areas where a waterborne option is desired. For stained or yellowed paperfaced plasterboard, use Resene Sureseal pigmented sealer (see Data Sheet D42).

Best of all, because Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer is waterborne, it has much lower VOCs than solventborne products that would traditionally have been used. And it’s Environmental Choice approved.

For those coating exterior cementitious surfaces, we recommend Resene Concrete Primer, which is optimised for use over cementitious surfaces.

For further technical information see Data Sheet D47a available from Resene ColorShops and Resellers or from the Resene website.
