Turn your trash into treasure and win with the Resene Upcycling Awards

The Resene Upcycling Awards is a competition inviting Neighbourly members to submit before and after photos of their upcycled or repurposed masterpieces and the story behind its journey. The initiative offers four prizes each worth $500 including a $200 Resene voucher and a $300 Prezzy® card.

Applicants are encouraged to take before and after photos and share the Resene paints, colours and stains they used in their project.

Resene is always on the lookout for ways to inspire and celebrate creativity and ingenuity in every community. The Resene Upcycling Awards have been established to reignite the craftsmanship and creativity that some communities may have forgotten to celebrate. Popular belief is that if something's broken, just throw it out and buy a new one. We want to change that. We’re hoping the Resene Upcycling Awards becomes a way to celebrate the hidden crafty talents within our neighbourhoods.
