Resene Resitex - textured coating
These textures effectively disguise the imperfections and surface blemishes of a substrate without detracting from the architectural concept. Resene Resitex is used on concrete, blockwork, solid plaster and fibre cement sheeting. With the appropriate sheet fixing and jointing Resene Resitex Coarse and Medium will help disguise the joints, giving a more monolithic finish. The same effect may also be achieved on blockwork if mortar joints are properly filled. The Resitex range is usually spray applied but may be rolled 'laying off' the second coat to avoid lapmarks. Available in most colours from the Resene Total Colour System, a minimum batch size may apply for some colours. For application in cold conditions, the Resene Resitex range is available in a wintergrade formulation suitable for use in temperatures down to 2°C. Product Data Sheet: D70 Specify: One-Line Specification section 20e/i Specifying tips: Resene Limelock (see Data Sheet D809) is a preparatory coating designed to cure and seal cementitious surfaces by retaining moisture necessary to achieve cure and trapping free lime, minimising downtime between the completion of plastering and commencement of painting.
