Surface preparation products

		Resene Broadwall 3 in 1 surfacer, sealer, finish coat - interior - waterborne Resene Broadwall 3 in 1 is designed for use over stopped and jointed wall systems in place of traditional surfacers and sealers. It equalises surface porosities; smoothes minor surface irregularities; minimises textural differences; VOC free and provides a perfect base for subsequent Resene finishes. A key element to achieving a Level 5 finish on paperfaced plasterboard. Suitable for use as a surfacer, sealer and finish coat on ceilings in dry areas. See product flyer. 		Resene Broadwall Surface Prep & Seal interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Broadwall Surface Prep & Seal is designed for use over stopped and jointed wall systems. It equalises surface porosities; smoothes minor surface irregularities; minimises textural differences; VOC free and provides a perfect base for subsequent Resene finishes. 		Resene Brushable Crack Filler acrylic sealant Resene Brushable Crack Filler is a convenient way to deal with small cracks in concrete buildings, which may still be cyclically moving up to 25%. 		Resene Deep Clean liquid concentrate - exterior Resene Deep Clean is a simple, safe method of keeping all your outdoor areas free from moss, mould, algae and lichen. Simply spray or brush on and leave Resene Deep Clean and nature to do the work. Slow acting Resene Deep Clean gets right down to the roots of the problem, destroying the growth and combining with U.V light and rain to weather off the remains to leave a Resene Deep Clean surface. 		Resene Emulsifiable Solvent Cleaner oil and grease remover - exterior/interior Resene Emulsifiable Solvent Cleaner is a blend of solvents specifically designed to dissolve oil and greasy residues on surfaces prior to painting. May be rinsed with clean water to produce a totally grease-free surface. Used prior to steam cleaning it is the best pre-treatment of smoke damaged surfaces. 		Resene Epox-O-Bond epoxy filler - exterior/interior Resene Epox-O-Bond is a two component epoxy filler or surfacing compound with excellent non-sag and gap-filling qualities. 		Resene Interior Paintwork Cleaner Resene Interior Paintwork Cleaner is a labour saving non-dulling neutral cleaner designed for use on all interior painted surfaces. Quick and easy to use, it dries film-free eliminating the need for rinsing. Available in concentrate or ready to use variants. Find out more about caring for your paint finish. 		Resene Limelock cure and seal - exterior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Limelock is a new preparatory coating used for the curing and sealing of cementitious substrates. It promotes cure by producing a water barrier, which unlike traditional curing membranes, may be overcoated with waterborne finishes at any stage. Its ability to cure and seal the substrate eliminates the need to leave the plaster to cure for seven days before painting. When dark, heat absorbing topcoats are planned, it is still prudent to wait seven days before painting. Resene Limelock traps free lime in the cementitious substrate protecting the paint finish against the appearance of unsightly lime staining, and providing a perfect base for subsequent Resene finishes. 		Resene Moss & Mould Killer liquid concentrate - exterior/interior Resene Moss & Mould Killer is a hypochlorite based wash with extreme efficiency of killing and bleaching most common moulds and fungi. Should be used prior to repainting of cementitious surfaces as mould growth is normally present. See Data Sheet D80 for technical information. 		Resene Paint Prep and Housewash liquid concentrate - exterior/interior Resene Paint Prep and Housewash is a quick and easy way to clean surfaces ready for painting or use annually to give homes and buildings a fresh look by washing away dirt and contaminants that may be present. 		Resene TimberLock preserver/conditioner - exterior - solventborne Resene TimberLock is a multi-functional timber treatment designed to increase the water, fungal and U.V. resistance of the wood surface itself, improving the performance of subsequently applied finishes. A penetrating material, it also has the ability to regenerate wood fibres laid bare by U.V. and weather attack and re-build them into a wood-like material. 		Resene Acrylic Undercoat general purpose - exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Acrylic Undercoat is an easy brushing, quick, hard drying undercoat with exceptional flow and sanding characteristics. While specifically designed for maximum benefit under acrylic enamels, such as Resene Enamacryl and Resene Lustacryl , Resene Acrylic Undercoat tinted to the correct colour is ideal for use under a wide range of waterborne and solventborne topcoats to improve the hiding of the paint system. 		Resene Concrete Primer exterior/interior - waterborne Resene Concrete Primer is designed for cementitious surfaces, including all concrete, plaster and surfaces, such as fibre cement to make ready for topcoating. 		Resene Enamel Undercoat general purpose - exterior/interior - solventborne Resene Enamel Undercoat is a blend of special alkyd resins balanced with unique pigments. 		Resene Galvo One galvanised steel primer - exterior - solventborne Resene Galvo One is a single pack primer based on alkyd resins and special anti-corrosive pigments. Specially developed for direct application to new and weathered galvanised steel. Effectively welds itself to galvanised steel and stops zinc corrosion. Also suitable for use on Zincalume. 		Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat - exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Quick Dry Waterborne Primer Undercoat provides long-term flexibility over unstable substrates coupled with exceptional durability even when left uncoated for prolonged periods. The latest formulation has enhanced flow and sanding characteristics for maximum benefit under waterborne enamels, such as Resene Enamacryl and Resene Lustacryl. 		Resene Sureseal pigmented sealer - exterior/interior - solventborne Resene Sureseal is a pigmented, solventborne, alkali-resistant, penetrating sealer with the ability to penetrate and bond old decaying surfaces and make them suitable for painting. 		Resene Vinyl Wallpaper Sealer interior - waterborne Resene Vinyl Wallpaper Sealer is formulated to seal in the plasticiser found in vinyl wallpapers. Vinyl wallpaper coated directly with standard paint finishes can become sticky as the plasticiser in the wallpaper migrates through the paint finish affecting its cure. 		Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer adhesion primer - exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer has been tailored to be a waterborne 'adhesive primer' over a series of surfaces usually considered difficult to coat or in need of expensive pre-treatment. 		Resene Wintergrade Quick Dry low temperature curing waterborne primer undercoat – exterior/interior - waterborne Resene Quick Dry Waterborne Primer Undercoat is designed to cure at low temperatures down to 2°C. 		Resene Wood Primer general purpose - exterior - solventborne Resene Wood Primer is based on an oil-modified alkyd resin blended with pigments to give ease of application and good penetration to substrates. 		Resene Blacktop driveway coating - exterior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Blacktop is a cold applied, heavy-bodied, slip-resistant topping for rejuvenating aged or worn asphalt. 		Resene Ceiling Paint waterborne flat - interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Ceiling Paint is recommended for use on ceilings of living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where a flat finish is required. 		Resene Contractor waterborne high build - exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Contractor is a new approach using advanced design polymers to achieve increased film build with standard application techniques. Skilled tradesperson-like application of the unthinned product will usually achieve complete hiding in one application. 		Resene Grassmarking Paint exterior – waterborne Resene Grassmarking Paint is a waterborne paint suitable for marking out lines and field areas on grass without harming the grass itself. Depending on the concentration required, Resene Grassmarking Paint may be thinned by 2-3 parts water making it a cost-effective option for all field marking projects.

		Resene Hi-Glo waterborne gloss/MIOX - exterior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Hi-Glo is based on a unique waterborne emulsion for ease of application and maximum life over primed timber and galvanised steel surfaces. 		Resene Paint Effects Medium exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Paint Effects Medium is a tintable acrylic used to obtain a variety of broken paint finishes, such as Ragging, Sponging and Limewash Effect. Resene Paint Effects Medium is always used in conjunction with a basecoat tinted to a selected colour. The choice of basecoat will depend whether it is an interior or exterior application. Resene Paint Effects Medium provides the end user with a unique alternative to traditional wallcoverings offering an infinite number of colour combinations. 		Resene Pearl Shimmer waterborne pearlescent glaze - exterior/interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene Pearl Shimmer is a waterborne pearlescent glaze ideal for creating shimmering wall finishes and softly sparkled features to add visual interest and diversity to any colour scheme. Resene Pearl Shimmer is always used in conjunction with a basecoat tinted to a selected colour. The choice of basecoat will depend on whether it is an interior or exterior application. Resene Pearl Shimmer may be applied over a wide variety of substrates, including trim and joinery, offering the user an almost infinite selection of colours. 		Resene Scumbling Glaze (Mix) interior - solventborne Resene Scumbling Glaze is a solventborne alternative to Resene Paint Effects Medium. Suitable for use in wet areas, such as bathrooms, or where a slower dry time is preferred. Paint finishes, such as Ragging, Sponging and Limewash Effect, are obtained by the contrast of basecoat and Resene Scumbling Glaze. Resene Scumbling Glaze is always used in conjunction with a basecoat tinted to a selected colour. Resene Scumbling Glaze is made by mixing Resene Qristal Clear Poly-Flat with 15% mineral turps. 		Resene SpaceCote Flat Fly Deterrent waterborne enamel - interior - waterborne Environmental Choice approved Resene SpaceCote Flat Fly Deterrent is designed to bring enamel style toughness to broadwall areas, allowing you to get a desirable flat finish without sacrificing durability. Novel formulation designed to discourage flies from landing on areas painted with this product minimising the appearance of fly spots and keeping the paint finish looking its best for longer. Extensive testing by an accredited laboratory has shown significant reductions in fly spots compared to standard paint systems. 		Resene Qristal Clear polyurethane - interior - solventborne Resene Qristal Clear is a range of hardwearing single pack polyurethanes. Designed using the most modern urethane resin for ease of application and maximum flow. Resene Poly-Flat produces a low sheen wax-like finish with excellent grain filling and sanding properties. Resene Poly-Satin produces a rich hardwearing semi-gloss finish with excellent sanding properties. Resene Poly-Gloss dries to an extremely hard high gloss finish (the wet look). Best applied over Resene Poly-Flat or Resene Poly-Satin.
