The Tikanga of the school. Caring, Curious, Courageous, Connected and Creative.
Background to mural creation:
The school wanted a visual representation of the school Tikanga within the school grounds and for the children to be ‘connected’ with it and part of the ‘creative’ process. There was a long grey fence that was prime for colour and livening up the space. The colours were chosen from the school logo which represents the Sky, Sand, Sea, Seagulls, Planting of the environment.
