Background to mural creation:
Grandma's purchase of bugs was the starting point for the John's
family mural, a truly collaborative effort. The original mural
consisted of a fence painted with a nature scene to which the
bugs were attached. Unfortunately Grandma moved so the bugs followed.
Having gained permission for the work, Grandma's love of the bugs
was combined with her love of jigsaws to create this unique mural.
