Background to mural creation:
The Kaitaia Group of Riding
for the Disabled has a new bright spot on the horizon with the
creation of a three part mural featuring elements of the local
natural culture. The murals promote interaction between clients
and volunteers. Often clients have language and communication
barriers so anything that facilitates interaction is welcomed
with open arms. The mural was a gift to the community group in
recognition of their important contribution to the community.
