Background to mural creation:
The Tauraroa Area School mural has been created on the walls enclosing the Community Swimming Pool in the school grounds. The artwork has supplemented a sustained effort to upgrade the entire swimming pool area and has helped to keep the momentum going. The facility is now very attractive. The impact has been phenomenal and as a direct result the Year 6 class adjacent to the pool has now completed a mural themselves on their classroom wall.
