lunches and colour advice) and the Blacks Point Museum Committee
who came to the party and purchased the paint required for the
job.

Background to mural creation:
Blacks Point Museum in Reefton features a new stunning trompe
d'oeil depiction of some of the museum contents so that visitors
can get a small taste of what lies within before they see it for
themselves. The mural has beautified the building and is attracting
visitors into the community museum.
