Background to mural creation:
To help educate the school children on the beauty of the Waitaki District, the wildlife it supports and what could be lost should Project Aqua go ahead, Otepopo School created a mural featuring Mt Cook and Waitaki River. There are still a few finishing touches in the form of birds and wildlife to be added to complete the final mural.
