Having moved into a new modern home, the walls were painted in
pale beige, which was not exactly exciting for 4 year old Emma.
Emma wanted her bedroom pink, pink and only pink, with lots of
love hearts.
The design started with Emma and mum Tanya choosing the heart
theme border (import 5312-16) at Resene and then matching the
lighter and darker colours from the border to Resene Pink Lace
above the border and Resene Shocking below the border.
The room was finished in Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen for a durable
washable finish and heart shaped room decorations, like the pink
vanity with the heart shaped mirror, blocked art with hearts and
a small heart on the window were added, in keeping with the theme
of the room.
The end result is so mesmerising that Emma’s room is a huge
hit with all her playfriends and a definite feature of the house.
