From the Resene News – issue 4/2003 In decades - A Blenheim building upgraded A quick coat of Resene Sureseal pigmented sealer was used to seal the old Stipplecote and bind the weathered surface, followed by two topcoats of Resene AquaShield tinted to Resene Double Spanish White (muddy neutral). Being a dead flat mineral finish, Resene AquaShield tones well with the building style while imparting hydrophobicity benefits to reduce dirt adhesion and subsequently building maintenance, keeping it looking its best for longer. Rewind
a decade and Russell Terrace in Blenheim witnessed the upgrade of a
building using Resene Stipplecote, the cement based paint that Resene
was founded on and a finely textured effect popular at the time. Fast
forward to the present day and the building owners returned to Resene
for their latest instalment of paint system satisfaction.
