The Foxton's Fantastic Festival of Murals
took place Easter 2008. Inspired by an Australian mural festival,
the concept was tailored to Foxton, a town already renowned for
its beautiful murals.
From the many entrants in 2008 the lucky finalists were selected
to create full sized murals over the eight days of the festival.
The murals each 4.8 metres by 2.2 metres are part of Foxton's
new "Mural Park".
