"I was inspired by my fabric. The pattern and colour looks like waves in the sea. It reminded me of where I used to live (Thames, Coromandel) in my childhood.
I decided to follow my heart and went with the waves design theme. I wanted to capture the waves' movement into the design. 3D twisted attachments at the hem allow the dress to move and sound like the waves. It has a boat neckline for a modern look. The dress is A-line to allow it to move as the wearer walks."
