"I was inspired by the colour of my fabric – Rock Spray. It makes me think of a strong confident woman. I was also inspired by Valentino cape dresses and the ones that Alexa Chung wears. So I created a cape dress with 'strong' shoulders and a simple dress to not draw attention away from the main features. I made the cape lining and the neckline, waistline and edge of skirt wrap a different fabric colour to make it pop."
