DEAD in the night is when she is most alive. Waves of lights flowing through her like the current in the ocean. Bring me distractions but your eyes will remain, they are windows into your soul, you’ll fall in love with being insane.

GORGEOUS is the chaos raging on, is it not? Tall people, so vibrant, decorating the dark with its silence. Split the sky and let it enter. Watch her burn the night sky, in the night she is alive, gorgeous chaos rages on. Hear the silence, the lights, the power, the seduction chorus. That she, my darling, is. Drop Dead Gorgeous.

I was inspired by Anahera’s journey to Tokyo. She is immersed in a world of shape and colour, clothes that demand attention and acknowledgement. Clothes that flow with creativity and the power to seduce the viewer. I tried to create a garment that’ll bring out the characteristics of the fabric. This is why I wanted to create a curtain pull drape look on the sleeves. I feel that my paint colour ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ described the person Anahera is. So I thought I’ll bring out her beauty as a part of garment. For the back of the garment I created the window to her beauty. I designed something that’ll not only have the viewers looking at the garment alone but also admiring the beauty behind it. My mood board shows movement and so I designed a pant with centre front splits above the knee.”
