Mana potential faces.
Background to mural creation:
This mural is based around the Mana potential programme model. It is about restoring peace and balance and learning how to control our emotions. Our mural faces link to characteristics of Maori gods. The students looked at artist Robyn Kahukiwa as an artist model and used 3D construction ideas to create the face mural sculptures. They are large and erected in the centre of our school and a good reminder of how we can manage our emotions.
