Background to mural creation:
This mural was created as part of an art extension group and schoolwide focus on enhancing the school environment and enriching it with student artwork. It celebrates looking out from the school into the world using a fish eye perspective, and features Mt Maunganui, native birds to signify school teams and representations of many elements of local life.
