Background to mural creation:
The mural group combined their ideas on the mural design before splitting them into four groups representing the most important elements of the school - academic achievement, sports, cultural activities and the environment. The Pinehurst School setting is very park-life, however lacked a little colour. The students designed and painted the murals themselves from scratch before the four murals were positioned in sequence. With adding colour a key goal of the project, this team have well and truly hit the mark.
