Background to mural creation:
The inspiration for our mural was the whakatauki 'Ka ora te whenua, ka ora te tangata'... when the land is well, the people are well. The mural celebrates and highlights Aotearoa's environmental taonga. It explores connection to the land and its centrality to our identity as people of Aotearoa.
