Background to mural creation:
Glenholme School has a bi-annual art week. The Principal, Nancy McFarlane, asked Helen to design and paint a mural with some of the year 5 and 6 students. There were eight groups and each group designed their segment and painted it. Each group had thirty minutes with Helen per day. They would add another coat of paint and work on the details. They learnt how to do wet blending and dry blending. All are very proud of the result and have signed their name on the bottom section of the mural.
