Background to mural creation:
Artists were invited to paint the poles however they wished – relating to themselves, culture and environment and to incorporate some of the existing mural on the library. They wanted to brighten up the dark and scary mall to make it a nicer place to walk through. The access is used for people coming to the local library, our community art centre and other local businesses.
