Background to mural creation:
The room 4 students decided to enter the mural competition and paint the school’s old storage shed that was left unpainted after recent redecoration work. Students worked in groups to make scale models of the shed and decorate it with a garden theme. The class voted on the best designs from all the models and these were drawn onto the shed by artistic groups. Then all class members took turns at painting the mural. Students also had to prepare the building for painting with loads of scraping and sanding.
