Background to mural creation:
This mural was created to educate the public about the plight of the dolphins that live on their local coastline. They identified different ways that people can help to protect the dolphins and tried to paint the mural in a position that was visible to the public. To complement the mural they have created a child friendly website to further educate the public and display photos from the creation of the mural. They also organised a school mufti to raise funds to adopt 18 dolphins from WWF. They hope they can make a difference and help to protect the dolphins. See mauisfuture.weebly.com.
