Celebrating learning through the curriculum at Te Rapa Primary School.

Background to mural creation:
Te Rapa Primary School is celebrating their learning in curriculum areas. All seven learning areas have been interpreted by student designs. All students who were involved developed collages of images that inspired them in their favourite learning areas. They all decided to paint each curriculum area using the colours that are used within the NZ teaching curriculum – mathematics – maroon, science – green, arts – orange, English – blue, health/physical education – reds, social sciences – blues/purple and technology – brown.
