Mural theme:
All the natural features around the school and community. Panel 1 shows the harbour and the hills that lead up to the school, panel 2 shows the school and surrounding houses, panel 3 shows the school itself with the students, their learning, panel 4 shows the gardens and resident family of magpies, panel 5 shows the sports fields and their local gully which they have adopted as an environmental project.

Background to mural creation:
The mural tells a story. It was designed by a group of students then painted over the course of three weeks. The panels are designed for the side of the school hall, so that they will be the first thing many visitors to the school will see. The panels have also been copied onto the cover of their school diaries for the next five years.
