Triptych of murals based on the work of Austrian artist and environmentalist Hundertwasser.

Background to mural creation:
Hundertwasser had a strong environmentalist philosophy. One of this goals was to beautify the environment and remove ‘straight lines’. Their mission was to enhance the Rangitaiki School environment, which is naturally quite stark because of the location. It gave the children the opportunity to learn about an artist model, about design, enlargement, planning and painting skills.
