Background to mural creation:
The school is located in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges. They have a beautiful rural surrounding and huge natural playing area for the children. Inside the classes there is a lot of art and colour but on the outside walls it is mostly neutral and monotone. It was decided the gifted and talented art students could create a mural as their art extension work.
