Background to mural creation:
The school wanted to create a mural that gave students and their families a sense of ownership and belonging to the school. They had a twilight art evening where families painted their bubbles. 56 families participated at that event. They were asked to paint anything nautical and were allowed to include family names. They’ve gone from drab green to bright bubbles.
