Background to mural creation:
The mural was designed to decorate a four sided courtyard that had been decked on all sides and roofed giving a performance area, an area children could go to on a wet day and a space for whole school teaching. The mural enabled the teachers and students to take art out of the classroom and experience painting on a larger scale.
