The history of Fraser High School and how the school began.

Background to mural creation:
he creators of this mural all attend Hamilton's Fraser High School. Nicola was keen to get involved in painting the mural because she had painted several murals in the past and absolutely loved it. She offered to paint a mural at Fraser because one day she hopes to be a famous mural painter who travels the world painting. Dane and Fabian joined Nicola at her request because they have a lot of school spirit and enjoy being involved in school activities where they can use their artistic ability.

All three researched the history of the school using old year books from the school library and information and photos from a past pupil. The layout of the mural has been designed to resemble a scrapbook with pages curling over at the bottom on some of the photos.

After finishing this mural, the team have a further seven murals to paint reflecting how the school has changed over the years.
