Background to mural creation:
n line with their mission statement, Mountview Primary School wished to visually demonstrate how children grow and develop. The first artwork is painted by a 5 year old of a 5 year old, and so on, through to the final artwork of a year 7 student model painted by a year 7 student. The mural is painted onto the wall surrounding the sandpit - once cold and uninviting, it's now adorned with original works of art, of students, by students.
