Once a 'Button Factory' in the early part of the 1900's, now renovated into a stylish coastal village 'conpartment', a mural featuring buttons now adorns the exterior acting as a reminder to the building's history and remembrance of an early industry that helped create the economic foundation of Ahuriri.
