Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene
Get the look – ageing furniture
Give new pieces a vintage distressed paint effect look with this clever DIY technique.
You will need: Vaseline and cloth, Resene paint or Resene testpot in your choice of colour. We used Resene Twizel, paintbrush, wooden piece of furniture.
Top tip: You can also use sandpaper to create a worn effect on furniture, using it to rub areas that would normally suffer the most wear and tear. Wipe clean and finish in Resene Aquaclear to seal the surface.
