The exterior features three coats of waterproof Resene X-200, topped with two coats of a custom-mixed colour in Resene Lumbersider. This 100% acrylic paint provides a natural, satin look.

Timber shutters on windows facing into the pool courtyard are stained with Resene Waterborne Woodsman in Resene Crowshead. This exterior wood stain colours timber while still allowing the natural grain of the wood to show through.

On the interior, Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen was used for all painted broadwall surfaces. This waterborne enamel provides a durable, washable, enamel-like finish. In critical light areas, its reduced side sheen will minimise surface imperfections.

Ceilings throughout the house are painted in Resene Half Spanish White, from the Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals, with walls in the main living areas painted in Resene Half Fossil.

The master bedroom, shown above, features an accent wall painted in Resene Graphite.

A semi-freestanding wall in the master bedroom is painted in Resene Graphite. Resene paints feature on both the interior and exterior of the house. Internal broadwall surfaces were painted in Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen, a tough, acrylic enamel that provides a particularly durable surface.
