Create these funky animals using egg cartons.
Miss Flamingo
Cut up an egg carton into individual cups. Glue two together and paint pink. Cover with hot pink feathers and poke in pipe cleaners to form the legs and neck. Stick on a pair of googly eyes and remember, flamingos always stand on one leg. Use a Resene Ballerina testpot.
Jolly jellyfish
Here's one for curling ribbon enthusiasts. Paint an egg carton cup, when it's dry, coat in PVA glue and dip in brightly-coloured glitter. Glue on eyes. Cut ribbon into lengths. curl with a pair of scissors. and glue inside the cup. Use a Resene Sugar and Spice testpot.
Pompous peacock
Paint one cup pink and another blue. When dry coat in PVA glue and dip into glitter of the same colour. Add eyes and a pointy beak cut from cardboard. Make two notches for pipecleaner legs and glue the two cups together. Cut a couple of slits into the back cup and insert brightly-coloured feathers. Use a Resene Superhero testpot.
Black widow
Paint two cups black, add eyes and glue the back edges together (a glue gun works well here). Cut four notches on each side and thread four long black pipe cleaners through to create the legs. Bend them in a variety of angles and poses. Use a Resene Black testpot.
